Privacy
The short version: we collect only the information needed to fulfill your order and run the store. We do not sell your data. We do not enjoy spam any more than you do.
What we collect
- Order information — name, email, shipping address, billing address, the items you bought. Required so we can actually send you a shirt.
- Payment information — handled directly by Shopify's payment processors (and Shop Pay / Apple Pay / Google Pay if you use them). We never see or store your card number.
- Browsing data — Shopify automatically logs page views, cart actions, and standard analytics so we can tell whether the store is working. If you consent, we use Meta Pixel for advertising.
- Marketing email — only if you explicitly opt in at checkout or via the footer signup. You can unsubscribe at any time, no questions.
Who sees your data
- Shopify — runs the store and processes payments. Their privacy policy applies to anything they handle directly: shopify.com/legal/privacy
- Printify and the print-on-demand partner — receives your shipping address and order details so they can print and ship.
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — if you allow advertising cookies. Used to show you our ads and measure their effectiveness.
- Email service — if you opted into our list.
Nobody else.
Your rights
You can request, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email info@botsonsthoughts.com with your order number(s) and we'll handle it within 30 days as required under Canadian, EU, and US privacy laws.
Cookies
We use standard cookies for: shopping cart persistence, login, analytics, and (with consent) advertising. Your browser settings can refuse cookies but the store may not work properly afterward.
Updates
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify customers by email.
